Senior Design Project with Dr. Randal Wolf, January 2005 – June 2005.

·    Determined shortcomings of current marketed device.

·    Generated new design, using Solid Edge, to improve device functionality.

Mech. Engineering Co-op, April 2004 – September 2004.

·    Created full vehicle model, using Simpack, for acoustic testing on a multi-body simulator. 

·    Utilized foreign language skills while working in Germany.

·    Interpreted experimental lab results with Matlab to increase the reliability of the multi-bodied simulation model.

·    Worked closely with engineers to manage projects and monitor progress.

·    Ran stress analysis on piping projects, using Caesar II, and designed necessary support systems. 

·    Coordinated scheduling and calculated costs for projects.

·    Contracted work and designed projects for implementation. 

·    Worked overtime to maintain field projects during plant shutdown. 

 

Computer Skills        Proficient with Matlab, Simpack, LabVIEW, Caesar II and C++.

Experience with Solid Edge, Q-Basic, Visual Basic, AutoCAD 14 and 2000.
